To be listed on Search.je we have a few qualifiers that each .je website must meet.

1. The registered website must not contain any content deemed as illegal according to Jersey law - including (but not limited to):
   
   - Drugs; in relation to illegal sale or acquisition online or offline
   (licensed medicinal dispensaries, educational and political resources are permitted for listing).
   
   - Extreme content depicting criminal and/or indecent activity such as: shock content, extreme violence, terrorism or illegal sexual content.
   (websites that contain legal adult content such as the sale and/or promotion of alcohol, pornography, legal firearms and gambling are permitted for listing but are subject to age verification before access)
   
   - Firearms & ammunition; in relation to illegal sale or acquisition online or offline (registered firearms dealers and educational resources are permitted for listing).
   
   - Criminal / unethical services such as: illegal financial services, extortion, theft, fronting, scams/fraud, hijacking, social engineering, human trafficking, piracy, distribution of malware, hack tools, deepfakes, bot services, the display of sensitive data relating to a person/people or any government.
   

   
   

2. As .je is officially recognised as the country code top level domain for Jersey, the registered website must be a business, organisation, blog, profile, club, charity or service that is relevant to the island of Jersey.
   (International organisations with .je domains implemented for the localisation of their content adapted for the island of Jersey are permitted for listing).
   
   

3. To qualify for free Search Premium the website must hold a valid charity number and/or be officially registered with the government of Jersey as a not for profit organisation or religious organisation.
   

   
   

4. We do not list multiple web addresses that link to the same website. We will only list one that serves as the primary web address used to access the homepage.
   (.je web addresses that link to a domain outside of the .je scope are permitted for listing provided they are still relevant to Jersey. However, only one .je address pertaining to that website shall be listed.)
   
   

5. The website must have at least one functional page, we do not list domains that serve only as private login pages. We do not list domain names that are not pointed to a website.
   (If the website is temporarily down or is being worked on - we will still list it unless we have proof of abandonment.)
   

   
   
   We vet and monitor each website to ensure our listings are in line with this policy and local law. We reserve the right to remove listings should the website(s) not meet our conditions of listing.
   If your website falls out of line with this policy due to new additions - your listing will be removed and you will be notified.
   If your website has been removed due to prior infraction but presently meets the standards of this policy, your website shall be re-listed after inspection and approval.
   We are committed to keep Search.je as transparent and accurate as possible to provide you with the very best of what Jersey has to offer.
   
   
   This policy is subject to amendments, changes and additions.
